Who are you?
My name is Sébastien Viard. I’m 42 years old, and I live near Nantes with my wife and my two kids. My career started in the field of customs, and I never left. I have worked for large logistics service providers like Geodis and DB Schenker and have managed different customs operations. In October of last year, I joined Customs Support as the Managing Director for Customs Support in France.

The three companies have joined a leading pan-European Digital Customs Broker. Their extensive knowledge of the French customs market is a welcome addition to our broad knowledge base. At the same time, their customers can benefit from the knowledge and experience of our specialists in other countries, making it easier for them to expand their businesses into new markets.

Long History and a Strong Future
In 1943 the “Societé Phoceéne de Transport et transit”, also known as SPTT, was founded. They provided freight forwarding and customs brokerage services from their office in Marseille. During the 1950s, one of their customers was a freight forwarding company in Algiers. It was then that Maurice Mesguich, who worked for that forwarder in Algiers, first got into contact with SPTT.
